안녕하세요

What is your name?
이름이뭣임니까? - Irumi muoshimnikka?
이름이뭣이에요? - Irumi muoshieyo?
(Note - above are two formations of questions, they mean the same thing, they just use different forms of a question)

My name is ___________
제이름은________입니다 - Chei irumun ________ imnida.

Chei irumun (제이름은) = my name
***Note - 은 is actually a topic marker, which is covered in another lesson.

im ni da (입니다 ) = is

More commonly, to state your name you can simply say...
____name_______ + im ni da
(_____name_____ + 입니다)

***Note im ni da (입니다 ) is primarily used to say that you are something or someone. It is used to inform about your state of being. You would not use it in a sentence like "He is at the market", but you would use it to say "he is Korean."

You can replace im ni da (입니다 ) with ieyo (이에요) or yeh yoh (예요) in some contexts. Im ni da (입니다 ) is the more formal.

What do you mean split it the way they sound? Annyonghaseyo is one whole word and should be pronounced together.

oh got it got it... i was getting confused between the dictionary way of splitting words...and language words.
