How to split dvd files?

can someone help me on how to split files? i already downloaded HJSplit but i dont know how to split dvd file... i want to upload movies so that i can share some of my favorite to you guys....help please....

Umm?
Just click split file and enter the location. Those will be generated in .001 and so on. Any problem.

i dont know what i will click sounds funny but when i put a dvd in dvd-rom, i dont know what file should i select since there are many, so i was confused eh

In order for you to split files, dvd should be ripped first... as for dvdripping, that I do not know... Please try this site: How to rip a DVD; a tutorial

oh! if you upload file, make sure it's not CAM version coz that sucks!!!

Yeah 4jpz is correct. You need to rip the DVD onto your hard drive.
Forom there you use a video creator software.
ie.
Nero
Easy Creator #

I suggest using Nero. It makes life a lot easier for ripped movies.

If you already have them ripped simply boot up Google,type in Media Convert,click on the 1st URL that pops up(its online meaning no downloading is required),and the rest should be self explanatory since besides the obvious options you can also split and merge files on the fly
