Can you download DirectVobSub for windows Vista?
They only have XP and 95/98..

i would highly recommend vlc player especially if you have a mac. i love it

How do i play .rmvb with softsubs? -> there is an .avi link too but the files are dead and the description says the quality is much lower

ps: if it's avi i would commend vlc to everyone -> no problems with softsubs (only rewind and ff is a bit problematic)
