How many of your friends actually like dramas?

How many of your Asian friends actually like Asian dramas? It seems like for me, not many of my friends like it, they prefer western stuff more.

What about you guys?

Uh.. I have 2 asian frieds. One of them just recently found taiwanese dramas, but I prefer Cantonese ones (because i don't like reading subs) and then.. my other asian friend doesn't really understadn cantonese well.

Both of them would rather watching american series like Prison Break and ER and such.

I think the majority of my asian friends likes asian dramas.
maybe it's because we're all fobs. =]

Hehe only me and one other asian friend watch asian dramas. All my other friends like Prison Break, Home and away, and others.

Lol all of my asian friends watch TVB series and some like Taiwanese series but since we're mostly cantonese, TVB is the best to us. I guess most of us are fob though.

haha most of my friends watch kdramas =] its a big topic at my school for asians and i usually go to my best friend's house or vice versa to watch kdramas or dbsk videos lol

Sadly, I only have one friend whom I like to discuss j-/k-dramas with. I have a few others who watch them as well, but quite honestly, I believe they're a little too enthusiatic (annoying) to talk with...

just one, becuase here in my country there's no transmission of asian dramas,but many of them love animes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!y preffer tv dramas instead of anime.

I would kill for your friends. I go to school saying "The most amazing twist was on Revolving Doors of Vengeance!! and they'll be like..."???" and then all this explaining has to go, and it just makes it very stupid -_-;

But I live in a city where caucasians dominate, and there are very VERY few asians. Well... maybe if I go downtown there are a bit more, but then its kind of like "gangster" asians there.

ALL MY ASIAN GIRL FRIENDS LOVE IT(and some guys). The love all the taiwanese and korean dramas. Well Korean Dramas are the best though. im chinese but like come on who doesn't love the drama Goong(if you haven't watch that then your missing out)? Taiwanese come next because like there are also many great taiwanese dramas out there and then there are the TVB dramas, i watch those since i was a little baby. they say its because of tvb that i have such fluent cantonese
