Have you ever met someone once, didn't really know them, and then suddenly lusted after them so bad, so much to the point that you think that it was love? I am in this situation, I don't know how to control it, it sucks since I probably won't be able to meet this guy anymore, and although I am talking to him online, it must be weird for him to be liked by a person like me who doesn't really even know him.

Problem is, I can't stop liking this guy even though I barely know him and its actually making me feel pretty bad. What are your tips for stopping my agony?

It's a bit embarrassing to admit, but yes a really hot guy or girl can definitely make some people go crazy. Its the same with a person and a celebrity, I think a lot of people think they've fallen in love but they haven't. Time heals all, you will find another person.

I'm a bit shallow, and I think its happened, but it hasn't affected me so much that I've agonized over it.

This is just a fantasy in your mind where you have a picture of your dream guy and you put him in your dream. The reality he is not really like this. To get over it you could try and confront it by speaking to your guy about it. As you have highlighted you will never see him so it doesn't really matter what you say to him.

I know what you mean. I always see this guy on my walk home, and I have no idea who he is, but I get all jittery when I see him. I wouldn't call what I have love, but I know its something there.

Maybe instead of trying to stop it, you should go up to them and talk to him and get to know him. Then you can decide if you love him once you know his personality. If you really want to stop the agony, maybe you should stop talking to him online? Try to get over him if you really need to
