Has anyone tried windows 7?

I am getting a laptop with windows 7 and I'm wondering what you guys thought about that operating system if you guys have tried it. I know it doesn't officially release for a few days but I know many of you have copies of it already so let me know, what do you think?

When me and my sis mentioned to my cousin that we're planning to buy new laptops back in August, my cousin advised us to wait for the release of windows7 coz it's much better compared to vista! He's into techie stuffers so we followed his advice. My sis' laptop will arrive sometime last week of next month, mine will hopefully arrive by December, so we'll know then if it really is good! But any improvement from Vista is good if not better IMO! lol... My current, much loved laptop is still in XP and I didn't upgrade to Vista coz Vista is not friendly to me! lol...

windows 7 is an upgrade over vista for sure.
the thing with vista is that it was so buggy and responded really slowly sometimes, even on computers with good specs.
i had been using xp for the longest time before testing windows 7 and i am quite satisfied with miscrosoft's new product

For me, it's not like Windows Vista. Uhh! Vista was just a waste product.

7 is like an XP with Vista skin. But contains very much better features than Vista. The best one is "Very Fast" network feature. I don't know why, but it's really faster than Vista to access internet. Another one is that it takes about 1GB for the OS. You must have at least 2G memory.

And the last one is my favorite, best for games.

That may be true to a certain extent but through either ALT+F4 or maybe a little ++ 7 is not better than Vista
