Has anyone been to Hong Kong?
I just got back from visiting Hong kong. This was my very first trip and must admit that I was impressed. I expected the streets to be dirty and people spitting every where. Due to SARS, they have really done a great job in keep the country clean.

me too! i would absolutely love to visit hong kong sometime. but, i heard things there are pretty expensive. so, i won't be able to go there until i have enough to fly there and to have enough for shopping. i would be really looking forward to eat authentic chinese food and dim sum. just writing about it makes me hungry for dim sum. hahaha.

Stuff there aren't cheap =P Let's base this off $1USD is approximately $7.5HKD currently.. with about $2USD you can by yourself a McDonald's meal =) Pretty cheap I must admit!
If you're looking at electronics it might seem expensive but when you do the conversion from USD --> HKD than aknowledge theres no sales tax or etc.. and its going to be latest model its worth it

No doubt food was very cheap there. I couldn't believe that we could get a bowl of noodles for about $2 CDN. Even McDonalds was very cheap. Electronics - depending on what you're looking for was way cheaper there too but the trick is, if you have a problem, you will have to mail it off to the factory for replacing or fixing. One has to be very careful there. Transportation was excellent. This was my first trip there ever and I was very impressed.
