This drama is based on the manga of the very same name by Nakajo Hisaya. Ashiya Mizuki is a female student from the United States (California) who runs off to join the all boys school Osaka Gakuen to try and meet/get Sano Izumi (Oguri Shun)..who is a high jump athlete....to jump again. She disguises herself as a boy in order to attend, but does not fool the school's Doctor Umeda, and that is where all her trouble begin. Along for the ride is Ikuta Toma who plays Nakatsu, a hot-blooded soccer player that falls for Mizuki even when convinced that she is really a he. Even more hilarity ensues there after!!!

i love this drama...it's so good and funny...i love ashiya,sano and nanba sempai...i oredi watch taiwan version but i prefer japanese 1...

This drama was funny and sweet. I loved the ending.

The school doctor was awesome. He was a great character. I liked how he was related to the school's major player and how his sister was a sort of bully.

Ashiya really looked like a girl so it was a little weird for me to think of her as a boy, but I guess the characters might have been afraid of offending her if she really was a boy and they called her a girl...

I thought the character, Nakatsu, was cute when he was confused about why he had feelings for Ashiya.

I never felt any liking for Sano for some strange reason. He just was likable in any way. He seemed somewhat weak in character.

this one was So much better than the Taiwanese version, even if it was a bit silly , but aren't practically all comedic Japanese shows that way

I like comedic dramas. And Hana Kimi JP tops them all. I couldn't stop laughing when I was watching this series. And it's the first time I encountered funny monologues. So I give it 100% rating. Nakatsu is my favorite character - he's really unique.
