Here is the thread where we will all start posting some tips for girls trying to snatch those Asian guys. We will compile all the tips into this one thread so Asian girls can get some information on the mind of the typical Asian guy. GIRLS! Ask your questions in here and we'll try to answer them.

OK so let's hear some of your ways for approaching Asian guys!
I will periodically update this main thread with the top advice I am hearing from others, or I will post some of my own tips below.

[ General Info about Asian Men ]
- Asian Men do like Asian women better than other races (there are some exceptions, but not many)
- Asian men generally treat women better than men of other races
- Asian men are smart and talented
- Asian men do know that white guys are taking their women (see Yellow Fever)
[ Appearance Tips]
- In general, if you wear cute outfits it will appeal more to the Asian guy. Unlike our Caucasian counterparts, most Asian guys wouldn't go for girls wearing extremely small skirts or revealing outfits (it may be hot, but not relationship material)
- Makeup is definitely NOT NEEDED. If you look decent without makeup, don't try to overjazz yourself. Heavy mascara, shadowy eyes is a turn-off for me, however A DAB of makeup may make you look great. Just be careful with this, go for a classy look instead of a cheap look. Overall I dislike girls who lather on the makeup. (Would like to hear other guy's opinions about this one).
- Heels are SEXY. Just to put that out there. It's one of my favorite articles of clothing on women, especially Asian women
Be careful with it though, if you are naturally tall, don't make yourself too much taller because extreme tallness can be a turn-off, especially for the Asian guys who aren't that tall.
- In general, I prefer whiter skin on Asian girls. Tans are ok on some, but a lot of ASIAN guys will like the whiter, cleaner looking skin. It also depends on the guy, since some Asian-Americans have come to prefer tanned women (like my friend). To be safe, I would go with a medium look, not too pale, not too dark.
[ Perfume Tips ]
While guys can sometimes get away with not wearing scents, GIRLS SIMPLY CANNOT AFFORD TO NOT WEAR PERFUME. Seriously, end of story. So if anything, make sure you smell AMAZING. Nothing turns a guy off more than a girl that smells bad. Even if you're working out and sweaty, you'd better still smell good.

- Avoid sharper smells, go with more natural subtle smells

[ Personality Tips ]
- In general, if a girl shows way too much interest, I get disinterested. It makes me feel like she would be too easy, and I would probably want to aim a little higher.
- Being outgoing and cute is a surefire way to win a guy's heart
- Being EXTREMELY nice can work as well, especially if you do nice things that wouldn't suggest you are interested in a relationship in any way (because this can cause the guy to start wanting that relationship)
- Don't appear BITCHY, no matter what. If you're on your rag or whatever, showing any signs that you may be high maintenence can cause guys to get a sub-conscious thought about you
[ What not to do ]
- DON'T TELL ANYONE WHO YOU LIKE UNLESS YOU TRUST THEM LIKE NO OTHER, this girl who liked me got burned because her friend told me she liked me, after that I kinda saw her in a different way because I didn't reciprocate those feelings. Especially don't tell GUY FRIENDS. Guys suck at keeping this kind of stuff from other guys.
[ What if ]
Q: The guy disappears basically after being officially GF and BF, What do I do?
A: Well you need to put atleast some effort into it. If you put your best effort into the relationship and the guy is still non-existent in your life, then he probably doesn't like you and you've found a sucky boyfriend. To avoid this, I would talk to your BF as much as you can and hang out as much as you can.
Q: Now I got a question, so I was skimming this book...I think it was titled "He's just not into you". Basically it says that if a guy does not approach you or call you after a first date, etc. = he's just not into you. It suggest that guys will do all the work in wooing the girl if he is interested and thus if he does not approach you, your chances are slim. How much truth do you think there is in this theory?
A: In most cases that theory is pretty true. If he doesn't even call you once after a first date, it's probably game over. Give him a week or so, he might just be playing hard to get. If more than a week has gone by (including atleast 1 weekend), then likely its over between you guys.
Q: I'm a kind of cinnamon tone of skin girl, not too dark but not too white will the Asian guy like me?
A: Definitely. This type of skin tone is probably what Asian guys like best, especially Asian American guys. The fact that they like whiter skin is a matter of preference to most Asian guys overseas, and it still isn't true many times. Honestly, skin tone is probably one of the least deciding factors for me at least.
Q: If a guy stares at me and then looks away when I look back at him, what does that mean?
A: It sometimes means nothing. If this repeatedly happens however, it's a sign that perhaps he thinks you are very attractive/eye-appealing.
Q: What does it mean if a guy calls me/IMS me for no apparent reason besides just chatting?
A: In most cases, this means he likes you. Guys usually won't take the time to spend minutes on their phone to call people unless it's important or if they REALLY think you're worth the time. These days, Facebook/Myspace, etc have been taking the time away from person to person calls.
Q: So this guy usually is really friendly towards me and now he's being distant! What does that mean?
A: It means the guy has probably sensed that you aren't into him, or maybe your relationship got awkward if he found out that you like him, but he doesn't like you. These two are the most likely reasons. Another, less-likely answer is that he's waiting for you to start approaching him a little bit.
Q: Why won't he just ask me out? I know he likes me!
A: There's many more elements to a person's life than just his love life. Maybe he is afraid because he has no money. Maybe he doesn't really like you as you think he does. Maybe he's a player. Maybe you should ask him out?
Q: Will he go out with me if I ask him out?
A: Depends, but I know that most guys, if they liked you, would definitely go out with you. It's not a matter of who asks who that determines whether a guy will go out with you. If you think you're at that stage where a relationship is eminent, don't be afraid to ask him out.
Q: What are some key signs that a guy is interested in me after we've met?
A: If he calls you, if he jokes around you, if he is very receptive to YOUR flirting. Usually it's SUPER-easy for other guys to see when the guy
likes another girl, so ask one of your guy friends to observe him while you two are interacting, or even ask one of your friends that's a girl to do it, other people can often tell.
