Wow... This was some pretty good stuff. But aren`t Asian guys also very shy? Isn`t it possible to have a guy want to approach you, but feel he`s no match for you? how do you cure that? That, and is too much confidence a turn off to Asian men as well? like intimidating or something? and is Approaching the guy first a "no no"?

Can I ask a question. Why do you hardly see asian guys going out with white girls? I am white and my boyfriend is from hong kong and I have only ever seen another 3 couples as the same as us, but I always see alot of asian women with white guys. I have dated guys from different cultures and I must say that asian guys do respect there partner more.

This is such an interesting thread especially since one of the questions was similar to what happened to me...that friends to awkward relationship with the guy. I think I would also agree with most of the tips since I've seen them happen and I do hear them from my guy friends. That's why even I'm in another country I would prefer someone from my culture (or at least asian hehe).
