I havent watched this ... but looking at the reviews I am definitely going to give it a shot ... will let you know if I liked it ....

I watch this at least about 8 years ago i think. I enjoyed it very much and was pretty crazy about sorimachi then!

I have never seen the manga and so this drama was already very exaggerating to me. But i'm impress by the story line and the drastic actions G.T.O took to show his concern for his students.

I heard that the Sorimachi Takashi & Nanako Matsuhima actually met and fall in love cos of starring in this drama. Hope that they are still in love with each other cos they really did have chemistry on screen.

Ohh! I remember this series! I watched it a long long time ago, dubbed in Chinese. I can't remember much, but I thought that the guy was so good looking XD

i like this drama, the male teacher seems to appeal more to the students than in other similar dramas lyk gokusen so yeh 9/10 for me =]

Yeah this was definately an awesome dorama.......until I watched yankee boko ni kaeru...then that just blew me away....GTO has the comedy aspect which yankee boko ni kaeru may not have so i guess GTO is better in that respect. Though dorama targeting the memories of younger years I must say yankee boko ni kaeru was awesome it was alot more realistic with the troubles that they face..........this is a thread about GTO isn't it???? I better stop talking about others i suppose.....The only other let down I have to say in regards to GTO is that unlike Death Note the GTO anime and dorama are identical so it kinda defeats the purpose of watching both i guess....but nonethe less if you haven't watched it then go watch it cos you won't be disappointed....and afterwards like everyone else you'll be wondering why there weren't more teachers like him when we went to school...

um is this a comedic movie?
