i love jin!!

I like this because of MatsuJun. but i like GTO better. =)

After I read Gokusen manga I checked out live action. And I think it was worth. The biggest advantage of this series is Yankumi, I really liked her character (despite that she is a bit naive in Gokusen jdrama), and the actor fits that personality vaey well. I laughed a lot. But to be honest, it would be better if the dorama followed plot in manga. And of course sometimes it was a little boring, that the main character Kumiko was always the one, who resolved everything, some kind of hero... so it was very predictable.

I liked Gokusen very much but haven't finished yet. The "weird but compassionate teacher" stories are always funny and exciting for me (e.g. GTO).

I second what sasori said: GTO is much better.
I saw the first season of Gokusen (because all the reviews I've red said Gokusen 1 was the best, and the season 2&3 were exactly the same story line)
Unfortunately, I thought gokusen wasn't that good, and I'd recommend people to watch GTO instead... unless if you're a kid, maybe...

I LOVED Gokusen!!! Even though the series couldn't possibly be anything like reality, it was just to hilarious to see everything work out right for the teacher. Season 2 was even better with Kane and Jin

I loved this drama...could be because it was the first one that ever caught my attention enough to get me addicted to the dramas. I have just started to watch GTO..both the anime and drama. I loved how MatsuJun portrayed Shin, but yes the second one was nice..Kame and Jin as well as a few glimpses of Mizushima Hiro!!!

Liked it but I think they made the same storyline in second and third season. Still Nakama Yukie is one of the best actress in Japan.
