Toto - younger sibling (boy)
Inday - younger sibling (girl)
Maninoy - godfather
Maninay - godmother

This is great! Learning many things. Thanks.

Ate- also means older sister (a term of respect for a girl who is older)
in the same way "kuya" means older brother

.. I've got a filipino friend, who's got a younger brother. She doesn't call him toto, but something that sounds like undoy? she's referred to as ate, and her little sister is inday, but what about what they call the boy? xD;

Ondoy?! That's the name of the typhoon currently making havoc in the northern part of the Philippines! May prayers to those who are affected!

Anyways, I think in Cebuano ondoy means little boy or child or sonny... some says it "undo" or "ondo" without they y... I think some might associate it with a little boy who hasn't been circumcised yet
