I've added your contributions Pau23... thanks!

I also added "kinakapatid", "madrasta" and "utol" on the main post... and also "ihada" (sp?) which is an Ilonggo/Hiligaynon term for godchild Smile

I believe there is no ONE specific term in Tagalog for younger siblings regardless of hierarchy unlike in Ilocano wherein any younger siblings is called "ading"... The Tagalogs have terms for a specific sibling in terms of ordinal numbering like Kuya, Diko, Sangko, Siko, Ate, Ditse, Sanse, Sitse and bunso... please read the main post of this thread under the "Sibling Heirarchy" portion Smile

RE: Filipino Family Terms

yep... Mr and Mrs are Ginoong and Ginang... and yes they're used as honorifics... For Ms., it's Binibining or Binibining if followed immediately by the lady's name, i.e., Binibining Annie...

I didn't include these terms on the main page coz it's not used as family terms... but I might create another thread just for honorifics... thanks nevernoticed_93...
