RE: Filipino Body Parts Vocabulary

waaa!!! I have lots of Filipino terms for body parts to learn... lol... and some I forgot to add!

Anyways to xeng, I've added your list except for the one with kidney... "Bato" stands for the kidney stone and not for the organ...

For Vieran, I've added your list, too... but I'm not sure if the English term for "puson" is belly coz "puson" is lower than the belly... please clarify this for me... It's the first time that I've heard of "galang galangan," "gulung gulungan" and "tokong"... lol.. I haven't added "pulso" as the translation for the wrist, though, coz "pulso" stands for the pulse.... and I don't think "sikmura" stands for stomach since stomachache is different from "sinisikmura" (I don't know the English term for this Sad ) Correct me if I'm wrong with my assumptions!!!

Geez! Filipino languages is soooo complicated! lol... Thanks to the two of you...

RE: Filipino Body Parts Vocabulary

ye! i agree to you very complicated!!! i myself before not familiar with this but then those are tagalog meaning of wrist and it sounded so funny to me. pulso because mostly they say it "parte ng kamay na pinagpupulsuhan" (part of hands mostly in getting pulse" that's why pulso, or better change it to " pupulsuhan" so that you will not confussed anyway it was included in the dictionary instead of pulso. stomach/belly " tiyan " is okay. anyway the deep meaning of it is puson buyo/puson. very much complicated if you'll add the cebuano meaning ha! ha! ha! whehh!!! it's hard lol.
