Fantasy Couple
Anna Jo is a rich Korean heiress who is married to a man named Billy Park. She is also rude, arrogant, stuck-up, and did I mention rude? She meets a man named Jang Chul Soo on the highway when her car is stuck in the mud. Jang Chul Soo assists her, but he tells her to get out of her car so that he can push it. Since it is raining, Anna takes refuge in Jang Chul Soo's car, where she finds a shirt soaked in red paint which she thinks is blood. Then she looks in the back of Jang Chul Soo's trunk and sees a mannequin which she mistakes as a corpse. Thinking that Chul Soo is some kind of murderer, she gets out of the car, picks up a shovel and hits Jang Chul Soo in the face. She also unknowingly takes Jang Chul Soo's jacket which contained his money. Jang Chul Soo thinks she is a robber and he becomes obsessed with catching her and getting his money back. One day, Anna is on her yacht when she slips overboard and catches amnesia. Everyone had thought she died, so her husband becomes extremely relieved that he doesn't have to put up with her. When Jang Chul Soo is taken to the hospital after an accident he had, he finds that his hospital bed is right next to Anna, and decides to hatch a plan to get his revenge. He tells the amnesiac Anna that she is his girlfriend in order to make her come to his house and become his maid.
I was completely blown away by Han Ye Seul's performance as Anna Jo/Na Sang Shil in this drama. Oh Ji Ho was also very good in his portrayal of Jang Chul Soo. They had really good chemistry throughout the drama, and I felt for both of them by the end of the drama.
The best part of the drama was the funny characters. Anna Jo is really funny, but especially the sub-characters, Yong-gu and his love. The actor for Yong-gu was just hilarious.
Park Han Byul's character, Yu Kyeong is also super cute, albeit a little wicked. But I still thought she was a good antagonist, and at the beginning, when Anna Jo was still a horrible character, I actually liked Park Han Byul's pairing with Oh Ji Ho.
For the most part this series is quite light-hearted, but by the series end, it was very touching. The ending is also amazing, so don't worry about being sad for a little bit.
Definitely reccomend this series, it should appeal to a more mainstream audience than most, since the actors and actresses are all very good looking, and the story is excellent.
