RE: Experience Philippines with HappySlip
it's nice to hear she feels the warmth hospitality of the filipinos and indeed accepting the beauty and being proud being a filipina.

Wow that cave is awesome! The Philippines looks like a beautiful place.. I've only been able to experience it through pictures but I'd love to go there someday..

Did she get celebrity treatment or something because she seemed really surprised by the room.

RE: Experience Philippines with HappySlip
maybe she got celebrity treatment coz she's not the tourism ambassadress if she's not treated nicely... lol ... I'm not sure but I think that's how the villas look like in that resort they checked into... I haven't been to Bohol but my sister went there and she said it's really soo beautiful but a little laid back, if you know what I mean... Wink

RE: Experience Philippines with HappySlip
Mabuhay, Pilipinas! Yes, the Philippines is indeed a paradise. Well, it is for me. My family has been here for generations since my ancestors migrated. . . generally, all has been well and peaceful. There may be news of terrorist attacks & what-have-you's but i guess it isn't only happening here but in every nook and cranny of this planet. Oh! there are countless breathtaking sites to visit - and, indeed, Bohol is one of them! Laid back as it may seem, it offers the nerve-soothing, stress-releasing serenity and calm that the city cannot offer. No tourist should leave the island without taking a mini cruise on a ferry boat along Bohol's Loboc river. Cebu is about an hour's ride from Bohol and that's where you can get the best tasting dried mangoes in the world! . . .Davao, Camiguin, Palawan, Baguio. . .of course, Boracay! for beach lovers. .Thanks, HappySlip for sharing your Philippine experience to the world!

Haha nice episode.. Hey was that her real mom sitting there at 1:22-1:24? She's wearing the same shirt but she looks older so I know it's not Christine.. Also that's how clear the beaches are in Puerto Rico.. It's really something beautiful to see so I know how she felt..

RE: Experience Philippines with HappySlip
I think that's just some random lady who rides the tricycle... lol... HappySlip on her first vlog upon arriving in Manila mentioned that she wished her parents are with her coz they haven't gone home for so long... and that some of the places she's going to, her parents haven't visited yet... Here's that vlog: 1st Day in Manila.

... and oh! here's the behind the scenes for "See U in Cebu!" They're composed of some clips of her wardrobe change and the spa thingy and lots more Smile http://www.happyslip.com/2008/04/06/behi...u-in-cebu/

RE: Experience Philippines with HappySlip
Whoa then that's funny because she was wearing the exact same outfit xD .. Are those shirts common in the Philippines or something?
