Filipino balladeer Erik Santos is tapped by the Beijing Olympics Games organizers to perform two songs during the closing ceremonies on September 24, 2008. The organizers are said to have requested him to sing R Kelly's I Believe I Can Fly and Martin Nievera's This Is The Moment, his winning piece during his bout in abs-cbn's Star In A Million contest in 2004.

Dang! The performance of Erik wasn't shown in the ceremonies... maybe it's for the closing concert wherein other representatives from other countries will also perform for the athletes...

Well, I saw Rain sing with some Chinese performers... but on another site, his management kept mum on his performance, just saying that it'll be something to look forward to. I don't think they're talking about that performance with the Chinese singers, though...

I did but quite disappointed I was waiting for Eric Santos' performance but I didn't see him singing on stage...

i dont know who this is but i didn't see him.. i remember seeing jackie chan and andy lau at the closing singing with a bunch of ppl maybe he was in the last part and i wasn't really paying attention
