Edison Chen: "I am a Christian now!"

Its been rumored that the male lead of the numerous celebrity sex scandal, Edison Chan has become a Christian after the scandal.

Edison's sister, Tricia Chen attended the Good Sons & Daughter for Mother's Day)" function at a mall in Hong Kong.

She responded to the questions about Edison's new found faith and confirmed that Edison and the rest of the family have became Christians.

The new found faith made the family a lot happier and their thoughts became more positive. They believe that the incident happened for a reason and the future will be better.

"After the incident occurred, Edison was very unhappy. He lost a lot of weight and appeared to be 10 years older. Not too long ago, my mother and I saw him and noticed that he is eating better and exercising. He is healthy and being back to his normal self. He has became more constructive and enthusiastic. At the moment, he is very busy in the U.S with his meeting, casting and signed with William Morris management." Tricia said.

I am very glad that despite all the negativity that was surrounding him a positive light was able to shine through. Atleast now he has found his purpose and was able to surpass what was going on around him. i guess everything does happen for a reason.

It's good to hear that he's moving on with his life... Faith (whatever religion you have) makes a difference. And what's nice about it is that his family is supporting him all the way...

And oh! he's with William Morris Agency, too? The same agency Rain is with! wah! Smile

i thought he was always Christian...but the sex scandal was nothing...now he's back to normal again =)

Kinda makes me think it's a all to inspire sympathy so that he can get his career back on track but w/e I guess if he's really found himself then good for him but if it's all for publicity then shame on him.
