Rapid Share has FINALLY changed it's downloading format.. NO MORE KITTY CATS & PUPPY DOGS!!! This means less headaches however with this change they've slowed down the kbs for free users. Rapid Share was once known for their extreme downloading speed and was pefered over all other competitors but because of this change they now can't even compete.

Anyway when you first get to the screen you'll see two speed meters.. One is for FREE users the other is for Premium (which of course is not FREE) so you'll want to click the Free User button below the meter on the left.

Now depending on how large the file is Rapid Share will make you wait accordingly with a countdown. If it's an image file then it'll show instantly however if it's an mp3 it might take about 30 seconds.. Anything larger will take over a minute. Once the countdown is done the Download button will show up and you're home free

Well no file hosting site is safe to download from unless the file is automatically run through a virus scan which I don't know if wheatear or not RS does so.. Even so it's your responsibility to scan what you download and know what you’re downloading.. avi's and mp3's typically wont contain a virus (I haven’t downloaded a movie with a virus yet) but it’s zip, rar and exe files you should be cautious of.

Try this one too... it works .. most of the home pc internet connections have a dynamic ip address that is alloted to u... dynamic ip is something like every time u connect and disconnect ur modem or router a new ip is assigned to ur computer ..so after one download just switch ur modem off and on it again... and there will be no wait time for for the next download..... for me switching off the modem does not work I got to restart my pc but that ok... better than the zillion minute wait... or better than that proxy down loader for rs..
