man,rapidshare is so complicated

nce you've clicked that you'll be sent to the confirmation page.. You'll have a selection of servers to choose from. I normally just use the default one but I think you can choose any. When you select one then type in the confirmation code and click the download button below it. And now the annoyance is over..

People upload to different sites usually depending on speed. I upload to RS and MU because it's fast and simple but not all our media is uploaded to RS.. Most is uploaded to MU (Megaupload) which gives you a 500mb download limit I think..

Please be appreciative of what's uploaded and not how it's uploaded.. It's not easy to upload so much especially if you have slow internet speed like me.

I'm not sure what kind of set up you have, but my computer's IP never changes. In most cases it shouldn't and in most cases it is better that it doesn't. Sites like RS and MU don't give a whit what the IP of your computer is, in fact they shouldn't be able to know what it is because it should be a private, NAT'd address along the lines of 192.168.x.x or 10.0.x.x

It's the IP on the WAN side (the Internet side) of your modem, assigned by your ISP, that RS and MU care about ... (assuming you have dynamic IP. If you have a static IP you have a different set of problems, but almost all residential customers have dynamic IPs) ... and that's the IP that needs to change.

All modems should have a configuration page that you can log into and just click the "renew IP" button.

I have been using Rapidshare for about 1.5 year now. I have a premium account and I have no problem downloading from it. I was always able to download, but once I reached my limit. I think it was about 5000mb. I'm not sure.

tnx...^^,but i think i haven't try downloading from rapidshare...I know one site safe to download, at mediafire but its hard to find d file you want to download...

Rapidshare has changed their format for downloading to a MUCH more simple interface so I gotta update this.. Problem is they've decreased the download speed so it's a lot slower now.
