o-o wow >< i agree with ron, i mean what the Japanese did that was wrong with the pillagers and stuff. But you have to remember, the people who live there now, have nothing to do with that. they werent even born then.. and i think they are going to be respectful to the Chinese now ( i hope). its just like what Germany did, do they hate jews still, no, they feel complete remorse, but you cant change the past now can you?

Everyone in the world hates someone. We just see the one who hates one another but we do not recognize how many do love one another.

Sadly in my opinion there is hate from the Japanese and Chinese towards one another. At a young age an incident occured which made me feel uncomfortable. I then felt somewhat a dislike for Japanese but have since shrugged of such silly nonsense. However I do not believe that this is the opinion of all on both sides. I am an ABC and have to admit that I have experienced good relationships with the Japanese. I look upon them no differently towards my other friends and would endeaver to help them out as much as any of my other good friends in the time of need. I have no ill feelings towards Japanese unless the have any towards me. What did or didn't happen in the past should stay there and we should accept the present. If such things did happen how could one blame someone for a legacy left by their fore fathers. In all honesty I don't think Japanese in general hate the Chinese, I have travelled in Japan and have enjoyed the hospitality and always felt that I have been dealt with in respect. I for sure will go again as I can roam the streets late at night unlike my home town where I need to carry a pocket full of tools to earn respect lol. Sadly though I feel some predjudice from mainland Chinese as they say you should speak Mandarin. Well if my parents never moved here from HK then I would be speaking Cantonese anyways lol. So my conclusion is that no in general Japanese do not hate Chinese and vice versa.

I dont think japanese people hate chinese,if there is this is mayb due to post world war but its long gone now.
