I highly encourage people to take AP courses because colleges look at that. Also, if you pass it, you'll get units for it. And for subjects like calculus, if you pass with a 4, you can pass out of math class requirements depending on your school.

Agreed with above. AP classes in high school are 100 times easier than the classes you'll be placed out of in college. Some the time this difference is attributable to the fact that the subject matter in college is harder, but most of the time it's going to be because those 9 and 10 am classes will be too damn early for you. There's a lot of handholding in high school so appreciate it while you can. Pack up on those AP classes if you can!

i take ap calc b/c and ap chem. chem is hard at first, but it's getting easier. also depends on your teacher though.

hm...I don't take AP's yet, since I'm a frosh, but I do plan on it. My brother and sis both lived through doing all AP's so it's possible I guess...

Yessiree, I do. AP classes are convenient because if you pass the exam in May, then you won't have to take the class again in college (it counts for college credit).
Only a few more weeks until the exams.... a bit nervous, I am.

also, even tho mine did, none of my APs count toward what i want to major in, so i guess thats a waste.
