Recently this issue has popped in my head so I thought i'd address it here.
So there's a common anxiety amongst the Asian community, and that is that Asian girls date outside of their race a lot and Asian men do not. What do you think are some of the reasons for this?

I think there are a few reasons for this

1) Men have to do the approaching and the first move
- The Asian girls have it easy! They don't need to do anything but be cute and they get approached by white men. Now Asian guys on the other hand have to go out there and make a move on a white girl. This is a lot harder than getting approached. If Asian guys were simply approached by tons of white women, then the scales would definitely be more balanced.

2) Asian men prefer Asian girls
Maybe its their heritage but a lot of Asian guys actually just prefer Asian girls to white girls. Therefore instead of approaching white girls they will primarily go for Asian girls. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Isn`t this as stereotyping the dating? Everybody have their preferences. Somehow it seems this concept as Asian women prefer whites is widely spread. Is it because in USA it is dominated by white (or have the latinos now the upper hand?) and so it is probably more common.
About the video with interesting arguments. I hope I don`t offend someone but isn`t the height difference mainly younger people argument? Socializing bit true.
Maybe also something has to do with the interest towards the different as white for Asian and Asian for white. (Probably that would be taking it to far and simple).

Also what is the difference about approaching and making a move ?

I think sometimes Asian women will approach a guy, but rarely. Asian women are shy as well.

Also the difference between approaching and making a move is simple. Making a move is like changing the relationship such as making friend into girlfriend. Approaching is just talking to someone at first.

Hmm yes a lot of good points you made. I also think that for me I like Asian girls more for some reason. I feel I can connect to them better.
