I'm guessing he meant that he only knew her by her first name Charice when they first met...lol

I think it has something to do with Archie's amazement with Filipino performers which he commented here, and that knowing her last name gives her nationality away, thus, it makes sense to him... idk... it's just my interpretation of his "make sense" comment...
