It really depends where you're raised and what kind of culture influence you.

Most Chinese people would prefer light skin. Chinese people in general have a wide range of skin tones due to the fact that China is a big country and different parts of China get different amounts of sunlight and types of weather.

unf0rtunately,as n asian...i als0 prefer t0 hv fair skin...but n0t pale...

My Chinese house mate, she uses various whitening creams and such
My other friend heard that if you put beer on your skin it lightens the colour...
She told the people in her dormitory and they did it. (found that funny)

There's alot more other funny ones, but yes, most want lighter skin, often why you see them using umbrellas in the sun.

Wow that certainly sounds odd... beer!? ^_^ Lol. Luckily I wont be trying that as I have naturally very pale skin. Don't those whitening creams have health hazards? :S

Generally speaking (I think) ....YES...but its not an absolute answer.... cos not all light skin people is attractive...hehe... some tanned skinned people do look good and attractive...

Most chinese dont like to stay under the sun.

but ive mostly seen asian guys go for he lighter skinnned girls..
nothing wrong with that.

its just a preference..
and it really depends on the guy..
some do and some dont ..
