Eww! What a visual! lol! I think it really just depends on the person. I know that Gackt (Japanese) has mentioned that he likes white skin and Bi/Rain (Korean) has mentioned it as well. But when you look at Tae Yang of Big Bang (Korean), he likes to tan to the point I thought he was mixed with black. The same with Hitoe Arakaki from SPEED (Japanese). I thought she was mixed as well.

Well guess what people! I'm Chinese haha. I like both light and tanned. Doesn't really matter to me as long as you don't cook yourself to an extreme black color or get too pale. I'm kinda tanned though.

In Vietnam people like white skin! They think dat it makes them "brighter" in da crowd! ^^ lol

i think that some westerners (who aren't so tanned) would prefer tanned skin because its something that they find unique, its harder for them to be tanned, and in asia (people who are tanned) would prefer people who have pale skin because they also find it unique to have pale skin, its also harder (considering the sun etc.)
although thats just my opinion...

i dunno about that...but being so light skin isn't a good thing...because they lack the pigment to absorb uv rays, therefore they are more prone to cancer....i dont mean to offend anyone....but yea it's the truth....

Not really.. some light skin just looks as if they are sick =X sorry if i offended anyone.
