like qoo1991 said, china and HK have two different political systems, they even have different currencies (the HKD and yuan). The reason that HK has nicer buildings is because HK is the size of one city and it is basically its own country, but the culture of both countries is the same. China is bigger and therefore a lot more diverse. The countryside is completely different from its major cities like Shanghai.

Nope. HK people look down on mainlanders. Cantonese look down on mandarin speaking chinese because they are migrant workers within canton.

Thats how it goes. HK people do not hate other cantonese, plus HK people are originally from the mainland anyway. The only native native hk people will always be hakka.

Cantonese hate taiwanese in general. That's the stereotype, but its not true for like all of us. I don't care. ROFL
