China blocks access to Twitter, Flickr, and Hotmail

China has blocked its fellow netizen from numerous websites such as: Twitter, Flickr, Microsoft's own Bing.com, Live.com, Hotmail.com in the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square protect of 1989 event.

"Microsoft's Bing.com, Live.com and Hotmail.com are among several Internet services that have been blocked for customers in China," Microsoft director of public affairs Kevin Kutz said in a statement received by AFP.

Youtube was also blocked from access earlier in March.

When will the chinas government end the blocking of different things...But what`s left for them to block? Aren`t they running out of options and blocked most of the internet? Hopefully there will be changes towards positive in the future.

RE: China blocks access to Twitter, Flickr, and Hotmail
It doesn't make any sense on me 'cos most of the communist countries block so many websites, like "youtube, imeem, flickr, twitter and hotmail". In my country, I use many tunneling softwares and proxy sites to access them.

Some blocked sites in my country,

Mediafire,
Youtube,
Imeem
Flickr,
Yahoo,
Hotmail,
CNN,
Megaupload,
Crunchyroll,
GMail.

Those are just famous samples, and they blocked many other sites like "Friendster" and "Blogger"

China is now learning from his student. Sad
