Charice Pempengco will be guesting on Oprah this coming May 2008.

The teaser for what's coming this May on Oprah was released in Oprah's YouTube Channel earlier today, and it's going to be showcasing some of the world's most talented and smartest kids, which includes Filipino star Charice Pempengco.

Just a couple days ago, Charice performed on London's The Paul O'Grady Show (read news article here) and on November last year on The Ellen deGeneres Show (read news article here).

The said episode on Oprah will be entitled The World's Smartest Kids!

I first seen this girl on the first Star King episode with Super Junior, and I was totally blown away by her performance! I also saw her on the Ellen DeGeneres show; her singing was top notch making Ellen reminisce about her the day AFTER her appearance on the show. This was coming from a just beginning her teens! Her voice has the versatility of a rollercoaster ride that can move up and down so naturally. This girl has great potential to become a singing sensation across the world...

Yes, she'll be on Oprah this May! Gosh, imagine how a puny body like hers has a voice like that. Talk about power voice! I believe she'll go places, slowly but surely. Btw, she was on Paul Grady Show (London) just recently.

As much as I love Charice I think all this is coming to her way to fast and people will eventually get sick of her because of the over exposure.. I'm hoping it wont happen but we've already seen it happen to many child stars already..

I love Charice Pempengco i saw her on Star king I can't wait to see her on Oprah this will be cool my mom will be blowen away she loves music and will love Charice..i have a friend who is from the same country she is the one who pointed her out to me..I know Charice will be a star one day and am fully behind her and so are my friends

Here's the video of Charice's performance in Oprah yesterday (May 12)... It's a standing ovation!!! and Oprah loves it, based on her reaction while Charice is singing!!! I hope someone will upload the interview, too, coz I want to know what Oprah has to say about her...

Of course!!! She's an icon! She's the model for hosting and getting rich... and I want to be adopted by her! rofl... nah! just a week in her house will do! rofl

I remember trustno!_2328 saying on another thread that when Charice was being interviewed by Kris Aquino, a tv host and Cory Aquino's youngest daughter, she was pretty envious of Charice coz Oprah invited Charice to visit her house some day!!! Lucky Cha!
