Charice Pempengco wowed audiences on the other side of the hemisphere, this time London's Paul O'Grady Show. She performed on the said show yesterday, April 8, 2008, singing two songs Dream Girls "I am Telling You" and Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You."
She stated that she would have loved to see Paul McCartney and The Queen during her London tour but is unfortunate not to see them.
The Paul O'Grady Show is a British comedy chat show on London's Channel 4.
RE: Charice Pempengco on London's Paul O'Grady Show
When I read O'Grady I thought she was gonna be on an animated tv show on The N lol.. She's seems to be getting more and more comfortable with with these appearances and her accent is getting a lot better.. I think her English sounds more clear here then when she was on Ellen so I'm sure she's been receiving training.. Can't say anything really about her singing because it's always amazing lol..
RE: Charice Pempengco on London's Paul O'Grady Show
As always, an amazing voice but I wasn't that bowled over by her singing coz I've seen it before. She belts with power but I guess she needs to be creative in her singing so as not to be predictable and consistent. You know, to make the listeners dig her more!
But yeah Krazoom is right in saying her English is getting better compared with her appearance on The Ellen deGeneres Show... On Ellen, her speech seems so trying hard but on The Paul O'Grady Show, her speech is more natural and her accent is a little refined which is good... I also applaud her for understanding the British English coz the accent and the twangs kill me sometimes! rofl
I love it when Paul O'Grady mentioned in passing Simon Cowell and The X-Factor... like the host, I would love Simon Cowell to like Charice coz she really has an amazing voice at par with the famous divas out there!

4pjz, I have to agree with u, she has to be more creative in terms of finding her own style, not that her voice is not that amazing...on a second thought, Mariah Carey's style is also predictable, I guess.
