International Filipino singer Charice Pempengo revealed on an interview with abs-cbn news earlier today (May 5) that she bought a multi-million (in PHP) "mini-mansion" in Tagaytay, Philippines. It has five rooms and a mini-bar and serves as her birthday present for herself and a Mother's Day gift to her mom.

Charice said: "Noong nakita ko 'yong bahay sabi ko: Ito 'yong dream house ko and kaya ko ito. Ilang kanta din ito." (When I saw the house I said: This is my dream house and I can afford this. This amounts to a few songs.)

Reports said that she saw the house while vacationing during the Holy Week and she also said that the location is perfect since she loves the weather in Tagaytay. To those who are not in the know, Tagaytay has a mild and average temperature ranging from 22 C (71 F) to 25 C (77 F). She and her family will be moving in the house soon.

Charice further stated: "Malaki siya na simple lang kasi 'yon talaga ang gusto namin. Ayoko ng bonggang bahay. Gusto ko kapag nakita nila ay simple lang pero eleganteng tignan." (It's big but simple coz that's what we like. I don't like a lavish house. I like it when people see it as just simple put elegant looking.)

Charice also purchased a seven-door apartment in Laguna and a white Ford Expedition, her dream car.

Charice is currently in the Philippines to promote "My Inspiration" under Star Records. It's her second album and the carrier single is an original song entitled "Always You."

Other engagements this May are as follows:

• On May 9, she's one of the main celebrities to perform in the David Foster and Friends Live in Concert to be held in Mandalay Bay Resort, Las Vegas.
• She will also be guesting on The Oprah Winfrey Show to be aired on May 18 for the promotion of her first international album.
• Later this month she is guesting in one of the popular shows in Europe.

I know, right! Converted to dollars, that multi-million will only be for a few thousand maybe a couple hundred thousand dollars but still those are big bucks! and she hasn't released her US album yet... I can see the royalties pouring in!!! To be in her shoes! oooh! lol
