Well it's rediculous to us but I think he does deserve it though since he's a very big name in soccer plus with his addition to the LA Galaxys (is it?), he will make more people watch FC. Before Beckham was announced he was going to play for FC, nobody knew there was soccer going on lol. He gets paid more because he can advertise it.

It's ridiculous alright! Well, he helped his team generate more revenue than any other team in soccer, so, go figure! He not only earned twice as much as his entire team combined, he has a lot of multi-million endorsements from various companies, as well! I guess that's what one gets when your a brand name!!!

Added to that he was admired by many football fans from different walks in life and various cultures.  Thai fans even made a shrine for him and made him as one of the minor deities! lol See image below...

Beckham is the Ultimate salesman and there's no one else that can sell himself better.

I think for this reason alone he is going to be a huge success in Tinseltown.

He is constantly evolving big ups to him.
