If you ever get the download limit exceeded errors you will need to bypass Megaupload's limits. It's not hard at all to bypass.

Method 1
There were more methods previously, but as they leaked out, Megaupload has found ways to protect themselves against those methods. The best method right now is to simply change your IP address and delete your cookies.

- If you don't know how to change your IP address, there are several methods for changing your Ip. Please visit this page

- In most cases, your IP can change instantly, you DO NOT need to leave your computer off overnight as mentioned on the site above.

- This is the method I use to change my ip, it is painless, fast, and only takes about 5 minutes or less.

First I disconnect my DSL router.

Next I restart my computer.

Wait until your DSL router boots up to find a connection, it takes some time to do this.

Next I reconnect to my preferred connection.

Voila! My ip is instantly changed.

This may or may not work for all types of cable or DSL connections, but it has worked for me and I'm using SBC Yahoo DSL. No idea how this works with other types of high-speed connections.

To check if your ip has changed visit this site http://www.whatsmyip.org/ - it tells you your current ip

Once you figure out how to change your Ip, waiting to download another part of a megaupload file should only take about 5 minutes depending on the speed of your computer. Although it's a tedious process, it's much better than waiting 2 hours if you are desperately wanting to watch a movie. Either that, or you will have to find an active torrent which can be hard.

If you have any trouble with changing your IP feel free to ask around. Once you know how to change your ip, megaupload becomes your friend.

Another Method
- Use a proxy service - this isn't the best method since I think Megaupload has found ways to detect proxy services now, but some proxies may work. Try it out to see if it does. I haven't had much success using proxies, I would reccomend just changing your iP address using the processes I mentioned above.

Wow thanks. I was actually trying to exceed my download limits. This will come in handy but it's too late right now to try it out. I will give you an update if it works

gosh, changing Ips is a huge hassle for me though, and i hate having to restart my computer each time. I think videos should be uploaded to a better site from now on.

well, another trick i found (not really a trick)
is u can download as many at a time, so if ur fast, u can start like tonnes of downloads near the same time and they'll all finish!

(i think this works not sure though)

Thanks, I'll try that and see what happens. Right now, all I can download is one episode at a time. It's very frustrating. It normally takes me three to four days to download one movie.

you could pay for their service, or you could try downloading whatever it is off of bittorrent (which may be hard), or you can just wait a little while before downloading again.

You said that this may or may not work for all types of cable or DSL connections, does this work on wireless connection?
