ok well i reinstalled the dvix program and it's in the process of converting right now at 18% so hopefully it goes all the way through. thanks so much krazoom for your help and everyone else i really appreciate it! ill let you know if it for sure works when its done.

now im on to embedding the subtitles for my girl and i and i save it but the audio was not synced with the video. and i get this audio message when i open the movie file.

i get the same error with the windstruck movie also. thanks in advance man!

hey is there a dvd burning program that i can use to just add the subtitle files when i burn a dvd? like have the dvd play with the option to put up subtitles or not. i dont have a dvd burner right now but i can probably get one soon if we need it, their only $40 for the cheap ones. but if there is a dvd burning program that can just add the subtitle files then i dont even need to deal with this converting junk.

btw how can i compress the video file a little bit because i embedded the subtitles in a momemnt to remember but the file is a little bit bigger than 700mb so i still can't burn it to a vcd. any quick help?

Ouch I was worried about that VBR message.. Sometimes that happens with certain videos because of the encoding.. You might want to try and search for a conversion program like Blaze Media Pro (which I recommend because it's the fastest) or WinAvi both of which you can get a COUGHcrackCOUGH for from any COUGHp2pCOUGH programs lol.. Convert it to AVI not WMV because WMV files will encode it with the VBR unless which is what you don't want unless you convert it with low quality.. Check your PM in a few I'll send you something to help out..

As for a dvd burning program that automatically embeds the subs I really wouldn't know anything about that.. Sorry I can't be anymore helpful.. I'm only slightly technical with software..
