My so-called best fren, just came and called me a bitch cos i wanted to change church. You see, i'm in the best class.she's in the third best class and failed her math test. everytime she sees me,she'll call me names and beat me. I'm terrified of her as she's assistant head prefect and dare not scold back. Will anyone help me regain confidence? Please comment!

RE: bullied
Hmm what to do? You didn't give me any of the right choices to pick... The choice you should do is tell someone. Sometimes telling your other friends won't help and might make it worse, but they can give you support physically and emotionally. You should just tell your parents and if that don't work, then go to your teacher. Before telling a teacher, you need to talk to her and ask her to stop bullying you. Tell her in a friendly way. Don't scold her back, because all that would do is give her another reason to pick on you.

I've actually dealt with a lot of bullies in my time and I actually never told anyone. Sometimes I wish I did, because all i did was kept quiet, but I had to endure a lot before they quit or became good friends lol. If you can't tell an adult about your bully problem, then run or avoid her as much as possible. This is ONLY a last resort, because this could actually make things worse if you run all the time. The bully will think you're weak and would pick on you more. You have to stand up to her.

RE: bullied
that's horrible! she's taking this out on you because she might feel like you're beating her in everything and she's frustrated. You should tell someone and does she calls you name even though you're not by yourself? If you have time, you should go and take a self-defense class so next time she tries to beat you, you'll be ready to block her first so she knows you're not easy to pick on. Hope that helps
Good thing you move to a different church so you won't get to see her that much

RE: bullied
Ah self-defense is a good idea! I did Tae Kwon Do, but never got a chance to use it in real life Big Grin lol just kidding. That might be too dangerous if anything did happen. But remember that it's always better to run or try to talk your way out of it than to fight!

RE: bullied
Don't be afraid just because she's some assistant prefect or whatever. In the end, your both students and just because she's "higher up" then you doesn't mean she can treat you that way. You both are students, none of you can be considered higher in the sense of status. (I mean, i consider her lower because she would do such a thing to her best friend though.. ) Tell someone. Don't let her ruin your days by intimidating you. Tell the teacher, make her stop.

RE: bullied
I was bullied in grade school, all these girls would gang up on me and I would always keep silent but I'd never cry (until 6th grade when my so-called best friend joined in). I don't know why they pick on me, maybe because I was different in a way and I'm not exactly in the cool crowd, more like the bookish type.

That's past though. When I got to high school, I never let anyone look down on me again. You have to learn how to fight back because the more you let people walk all over you, the more you will be marred or tainted by these events in the future. It's better if you let them know what you think.

If your 'best friend' is the assistant head prefect, that makes it all the more worse, she should be a model for all students but based on her actions, perhaps she was the wrong choice as prefect. Power-tripping.

SUBTRACT. "

RE: bullied
i think shes just jealous of you or maybe envy. sometimes envy makes two friends apart...

just ignore her and do the best you can do

you know sometimes it takes courage not to fight

RE: bullied
A good test to figure out which choice you should make is to ask yourself which of the choices is the hardest one to do; that one would be the right choice! Well I'm sure this doesn't apply to everything though, but I can't think of one right now. If the choices I gave won't work, then try this test to maybe direct you to the right choice.
