My best sights in Japan is Osaka ne~ I think there are two tradition that very different.

I would say beautiful tokyo

Well Lance pretty well covered it. Don't forget the snow monkeys..they are cool! I personally would like to visit the house of Togakuryruo [spelling might be a little off] castle as they are one of the largest true Ninja clans. I would also like to visit and train for a few days in one of Masutsu Ohama's original dojo's. Lets not forget a ride on the bullet train and throw in a couple of Aya Ueto concerts. If you really want to see Japan; stay away from the tourist spots. Check out the hip-hop clubs. Japan's night life is the bomb; and the food!

Never go to Japan but i heard Tokyo is the best for nightlife n shopping.
Kyoto for sightseeing & fresh air.

It would have to be Tokyo but I would spend most of my time at many of the famous race tracks.
