There is the prime japanese movie of all!!!

Ugh I liked the movie but all I kept thinking about was what would I do in that situation and thank god I'm not in it lol.

It's actually a manga, because a friend of mine has a few volumes, but I saw both movies. A few years ago I saw the last few scenes of the second movie on asiascreen [MTV], but I didn't know which movie it was. After a lot of searching I found out it was Battle Royale. So I watched both movies and I found the concept of letting teenagers fight to death to fight overpopulation absolutely revolting, but it made into quite a good movie.

i watched the second movie before the first and i thought the second was good, then i watched the first and that was great! ... but i do like both movies, its different to what i usually watch and i think its funny how before each person dies they have to get the last word in! haha =]

I'm not as big of a fan of the movie as I am the book. I wish the ending could've been better.

This was an amazing film that brings forth all the weaknesses within people, highlighting how desperation brings forth the true character within people in society. However, among the sad group of people, there remains a glimmer of hope shown in the two main characters by their teamwork, trust and efforts to stay alive.

This isn't a movie I'd want to show to younger children and not a movie to watch for those afraid of violence. Not an idea I'd support for the future. Other than that, it was certainly an interesting film.

Liked this Movie.
Violence and the portrayal of all the characteristic bad traits of being a human being is superb.
Wouldn't we react in the same way if we were in the same given situation?
