In 2000, former celebrity manager, Kim Seok Jin shot a sex video engaging in sex acts with K-pop singer, Baek Ji Young. The video started circulating throughout the internet.

Because of this, he fled to the U.S but once agan made headlines last week. Kim was arrested by the police in the Koreatown area in Los Angeles on suspicion of having sex with a minor, reported Yonhap News Agency. He had been on the U.S wanted list for two years.

A request for bail was put up but rejected by the U.S court last Tuesday, after U.S officials received an extradition request from the Korean government.

In his hometown, Kim is allegedly wanted by the Korean police for defamation charges related to the production and circulation of sex videos on the internet, said The Chosun Ilbo.

The newspaper also quoted a Korean music industry executive who said "We have to wait and see if he will be brought back home."

So far, Ji Young has yet to comment on the news.

Sources close to the singer told The Chosun Ilbo that she may not want her name mentioned in connection with Kim since the sex tape scandal nearly ruined her career.
