RE: Bae Yong Jun
Ouch! My aunt is also a 'Bae' fan. She would be happy if I told her about this. And she's waiting for Bae's "Legend".

RE: Bae Yong Jun
wheew..finally found the thread of my fav korean actor. Thanks for putting up this thread! posted in Quilt freeboard by sunset
The Guardian of Four Gods (TWSSG) will soon be aired in Manila, Philippines. Two of my officemates, along w/me were truly delighted to see the trailer or a teaser TWSSG being shown in a local tv network here yesterday. Bae Yong-joon will again the grace the tv screens in Manila, after the much-touted Winter Sonata in November 2004 and Hotelier sometime in 2006. GMA-7, one of the 2 giant tv nerworks will bring him back, the same station that brought WLS.
Said period drama epic will be dubbed in the vernacular (Tagalog) plus a chosen Tagalog song that will surely make it a mega-hit.
Our nights will be memorable and will give us more reason to come home early daily after work.

i didnt know you already post this news lol...i made it to a new thread.
its a good thing, that theres someone here that love BYJ too! we should keep this thread alive ok? Tnx! and love your signature huh! Yonsama is so lovable there!
Anyway, here what i found:
While Yonsama Recuperates at Home,
TWSSG Plans for Season 2!
“He is currently continuing treatment at home for the left knee that was operated on due to the injury.” (staff spokesman)
On December 30, Yonsama even appeared at the MBC Drama Awards on crutches. Just as he said in his speech, accepting the award for best actor in TWSSG, “If there is to be a season two, I would certainly like to be in it,” and producer Kim Jong Hak has also been emphasizing from the New Year in a Korean newspaper interview, “If given the opportunity, I would like to film season two.”
The key to season two will be how popular TWSSG will prove to be starting April 5 when TWSSG begins broadcasting on NHK with Japanese voiceover!?
Also, the DVD of the TWSSG special which was broadcast before the series began in Korea is now taking pre-orders at Tsutaya Records and will be on sale beginning February 27. Limited quantities of the DVD which include the Damdeok figurine is priced at 36,225 yen; regular version DVD is 4,925 yen.
This year KeyEast of which Yonsama is the major shareholder, will make its move into Japan. Let’s look forward to his Japan visit in the spring!

RE: Bae Yong Jun
Hi everyone!
I just finish watching Legend and I have to say that it's a great drama! BYJ definitely is the real King himself.
But I feel so sad that he was injured so much that after the filming, he had to go to the hospital right away Watching him in the second special of Legend makes me even love him more because he not only shows his charisma but also his serious when it comes to acting. I hope to hear more about him :-)

tnx for your comment Ryouki-chan and your right about him... BTW here is some recent news about him
Yonsama to Travel to US for Rehab and Rest!
"Because of the ligament injury,
his knee has been immobilized with the cast until March.
Until then he is off work.
Once the cast is removed he will begin physical therapy." (staff spokesman)
On the evening of January 17,
even while visiting Gorilla in Seoul after a lengthy absence,
Yonsama was on crutches.
On his way home Yonsama replied in Japanese to the family waiting for him,
"Ganbari masu" (I will do my best) reassuring family members.
On the same day, local newspapers reported that
Key East signed a contract with Olive Nine, which manages Choi Ji Woo,
to produce dramas.
This contract is a strategic move to advance into Asia,
but Yonsama's eyes are first directed toward the US.
One week ago on January 10, Yonsama went to the US Embassy in Korea.
"He went to apply for a visa since he will be on an extended vacation.
In Korea, this is necessary when visiting the US.
I have heard that he plans to recuperate over there." (previously quoted source)
Lee Ji Ah will also be traveling to the US
"She and her family have lived in the US since she was a student
and she also has relatives in the US.
It seems she will be reuniting with her relatives and old friends.
I think that she will have a separate schedule from YJ." (drama staff)
Yonsama is expected to travel to the U.S. in February.
(Lee Ji Ah was his co-star in TWSSG, and he was called Yonsama by his fans in Japan)
