I'm 20 years old... and I have NOO clue what I'm going to do with my life... I'm literally .. THE ONLY KOREAN in the city I live in, so it's hard for me even to get a freakin job at McD's. I've always wanted to be in films and music. etc. but when I use to pursue anything.. I was always notice for my ethnicity.. and not my talent...... so is regular ass collage an option??

you have some options. GOing to college is a good idea, or you can move to another city if you think that the reason you are failing is because that city doesn't accept your ethnicity.

just wondering, where do you live? As Takeshi said, I would suggest you just go to college.

wow you're korean? anyways im with takeshi and twilightgirl you should go to college and continue thinkin what you want to become. even for me im not even sure when i graduate from high school what im goin to do or become.

If you have no clue then, go to college. it can give u a good idea what might you want to do with your life.

I agree, get out into the real world. There are a lot of cities on the east coast and west coast with diverse groups of people including large communities of asian americans. You will even find that koreans, chinese, japanese will tend to stick together in their own communities and cliches. I find this to defeat the purpose of diversity as I am chinese myself, but it beats living out in the boonies. New York, San Fransico, LA, Washington DC, etc. Look into colleges in areas of diversity such as these as you will discover an entirely different world.

instead of getting down on yourself, try see yourself in a different light. yes you are different than everybody else in your city...that makes you unique. change your outlook...if you dont like yourself, nobody else is going to like you. sure going to college will definitely help you ... but your attitude towards yourself has to change first before you can become sucessfull at whatever you want to do.

I agree with everyone else, you should definetly go to college and let your life go from there, I highly doubt that your the ONLY Korean in your city because many places are more diverse than we think.

Since you enjoy films so much, you ethnicity should not stop you from what you ejoy. It's especially wrong for those who stop you from doing what you like because of your ethnicity

:Pyeah go da college like dey say. it'll help you think of what you want to do later in life. if you're the only korean good for you. i can't even get a job at mcD either and half the workers are the same ethnicity as me so don't feel left out. go to college or do something to further yourself in life. anywaise later. CHEER UP

college is the way for most ppl, its sorta standard unless u got some good talents where u can just start working sstraight away?
