Hello There, Guest! (Login — Register)
Most Asian guys are less aggressive than our american friends. In general, Asian guys are more honorable and won't try to have sex or forced kissing. Asian girls are also less likely to cheat and generally aren't as "horny" as other races.
Anyone see this trend? Also you can see that in most Asian drama series, the guys are less aggressive sexually and personally than in American movies and TV.
To begin with, I would like to compliment you on bringing this issue to mind. In the past, I have heard many ideologies and conceptions as regards to this matter; curious to hear about others philosophies in comparison to mine.
In general, asians tends to be more shy and apprehensive towards the opposite sex than caucasians. Keeping in mind, this is based on generalization of the majority. Also be noted, it is customary for males, mammals in all matters, to prioritize the pursuit of sex. Though it have been studied that Africans and Caucasians tend to be more 'active' in the pursuit then other human races. The information will led many to theorized that other races, including that asians are less assiduous and more conservative in the matter.
In my own perspective and personal opinion, I concluded that the theory of the conservative traits in asians are accurate. More specifically, many asian males are commendable to 'hold back' on the relationship then that of their caucasian counterpart due to being self-effacing and faint-hearted. My perspective is polarized when it comes to the subject of asian females. With no offensive intentions, I think asian females are more in the the thrilled of seeking wealth and essential luxuries than sex. Therefore, showing less sign of aggressiveness in sexual atcivities and consideration of their companions.
Once more, this is based on my bias viewpoint and is theoretical.
yes I've observed that Asians do tend to try and hold back their urges. I've seen some pretty awkward relationships where the guy/girl would barely ever touch or kiss. I think Asians are more traditional than caucasians.
In my opinion, never try to compare real life situations with television dramas.
Anyways, yeah I think that idea is true. I remember this girl and I were very close probably because I kept goofing off with her aggressively at work. That ended when I started having second thoughts on it (not to mention, I could get fired if I get caught).
However, not all girls are the same. Some want a more hands-on relationship than others. For guys, it either comes naturally or we learn from our parents not to be aggressive on girls.
Nevertheless, this is a great topic and really opened my eyes on what happened in my previous situations.
I agree... based on the asian media i've seen.... asians generally seem to keep that sort of thing to themselves more.
Taking it a step further... (and this is based solely on dramas/movies/music videos) Koreans seem to be the most reserved when it comes to intimacy. I've seen countless dramas where the guy will kiss a girl and get slapped for it, like it's offensive. Whereas, Japanese movies, I have Nana in mind specifically... there's a bit of a sex scene between Sachiko and Shoji. I don't know this from experience, as stated in another thread... but that's just what i've noticed.
erm... yeah...i think most asians are still conservative aka polite in terms of relationship...but not all asians r like that owh...n not all westerns are that 'wild'...n i agree that movies dun really revealed the real world...
I agree. I mean, I would never think of cheating on anyone. But, you know other people don't think that way. It all depends on how you were brought up. I think in like Asian shows, they are very afraid to put like "sex scenes" or anything intimate on, because the elder Asians would be like "We don't do that" and such which equals bad reviews. But this generation is a bit different, and maybe producers and directors have put that into thought.
