Miss Canada wins Miss Earth 2007 crown



Jessica Nicole Trisko of Canada, who bested 89 other contestants, is the newly-crowned Miss Earth for 2007. Runners-up were Miss India (Miss Air); Miss Venezuela (Miss Water); and Miss Spain (Miss Fire). The event, which began seven years ago and was founded by the Carousel Productions, Inc. of the Philippines, was held Sunday night at the University of the Philippines Theater

The pageant, which has its purpose and theme focusing on the environment and the importance of its protection, has featured the various destinations in two countries, the Philippines and Vietnam.

The funny part was in the question and answer portion for top 8 wherein Ms. Thailand has a translator. But her translator needs a translator... lol... good thing though, that MTV VJ Utt, the emcee, is Thai and he's the one who translated for Miss Thailand... hilarious moment! The translator looks pretty embarassed and Ms. Thailand is reassuring her... rofl... and VJ Utt is pretty cool!

ive watched it last night, she deserve it among other candidate for me her answer to the quetion is more precisely and clear not like others. she is beautiful.
