Here is another tut people have asked me a lot on IMVU how I did it.. Ever wanted to make animated text? Well this is a simple basic tutorial on fading text. First off click File>New and select the dimensions something like 340 x 100 should be good. Once you have your new scrap of paper click the text tool and type in something nice.



After you’ve done all that look at your tool menu and click this



Once in ImageReady look down at the animation tool bar and change the frame rate from 0 to about 0.2. Then click the duplicate the button once..

After that click on the 2nd frame and hide the text by clicking the little eye on the layers menu

When the text in the 2nd frame is invisible, click on the first frame and hit the Tween button and use these settings




Then press play. Good job xD..



Just because I felt bored xD



NOTE:: Make sure you save it as a GIF file.

EDIT:: NOTE::: For a much more smoother transition like my current sig CLICK the very last frame, click TWEEN again and use the very same settings as before but change the drop down bar to FIRST FRAME NOT previous or next...
