Mine would definitely have to be Mai Valentine from YuGiOh since she actually had enough guts to go against Yami Malik(Best villain in the entire series since he really won the Yami Malik VS. Yami Yugi duel but since Yugi is the main character they made him lose when his good self came back and gave up) and actually almost used his own god card(The Winged Dragon of Ra) against him but since Ra requires a chant that only Yami Malik knows she lost

I'm gonna have to say... hmmm let me think, I normally like the men in anime so this is a tough one; but I gonna have to say Kagome of Inuyasha she can really use that bow and arrow. She can make a boy fall down just by saying that magical word of SIT! She has control over Inyuyasha and that's what I like instead of a girl being controlled by a boy,she is not at the mercy of Inuyasha but Inuyasha is at the mercy of Kagome( I know, I know, I'm totally butchering up her name.Sorry). I like how that in some animes, it show strong females who wont let any man control them.That's how it should be girls are not always the weak, or meek little things you see in the old time movies/cartoons. So Kagome got my vote on one of my favorite female anime characters.
