do you guys make your own avatars or do you get it from websites??? i'm looking for avatars of all the asian celebrities out there.

I usually make my own since I'm kinda picky with my avatars. But sometimes I take just pictures (looks at avatar)

I think some good places are like fan forums that offer like.. a "fanart area" and usually some fans will share there artwork too.

I don't even know why I have my avatar......too lazy to change it though since I signed up with this site. You can just type in any one of your favourite celebrities from google and start from there. There are a lot of pictures and on forums too. You could make your own if you're crafty like that.

yeah i usually find a picture of someone i like like lee junki and i just post it up as my avatar ^^ usually its a hot picture of him..but then all his pictures are hot lol =P

Fan forums have a lot to share but make sure to ask permission before downloading and using it.  Some even creates specifically for you, based on your given requirements to add-on, and sometimes they do it for free! I d/led a bunch of animated and non-animated gif avatars from a goong site but I can't use it since I haven't asked permission to the creator.  They might skin me alive!!! Lol

Mine was taken from a website and I just added my username using photoshop then resize the image.

I found my avatar on a manga scanlation forum. I don't remember where exactly or which forum it was, but I thought it was pretty cute at the time so I took it. Where it says my name used to be something else, but I used photoshop to edit the picture and input my username. To whoever I stole the avatar from, thanks! xDDD

I think that LiveJournals are the best places to get avatars, since they have a lot of communities that specialize in them. Here is one: http://community.livejournal.com/asiancon100/

From that link, you should try looking around. They usually have affiliates, which will direct you to more communities that have avatars.

i usually get it from websites. but i can make them too, but it takes me a long times since i dont know how it should look
