MBC drama Sad Love Story (a.k.a. Forever and Ever and Sad Sonata) brings alive an innocent first love lost in the complications of life. Starring Korean drama heavyweights Kwon Sang Woo (Stairway to Heaven), Kim Hee Seon (Goodbye My Love), and Yeon Jung Hoon (Yellow Handkerchief), Sad Love Story is a heartbreakingly beautiful romance that defies sight and sound. Set in both the U.S. and Korea, the series broke records with a production cost of 7 billion won, making it one of the grandest modern dramas to come out of Korea.

From the moment they meet, Jun Yeong (Kwon Sang Woo) and the blind Hye In (Kim Hee Sun) share an instant connection. Young and naïve, they believe that nothing can change their love. Life, however, pulls them in opposite directions. Jun Yeong is sent to Seoul, while Hye In immigrates to America. Misleadingly informed that Jun Yeong is dead, Hye In struggles to begin a new life alone. Years later, Hye In returns to Seoul. With her eyesight restored, she is now a singer happily engaged to her producer Gun Woo (Yeon Jung Hoon). Everything changes though when Gun Woo's composer friend turns out to be none other than Jun Yeong. He instantly recognizes her, but Hye In has never seen Jun Yeong before. When love is no longer simple and blind, can Hye In and Jun Yeong still find their way back to each other?

The film have got many tear. I don't like it.

Although is sad, but very touching and moving. Thinks can watch this kind of movie once a while as, you know, it is a movie and it is where you can let your imagination runs wild!

i think l like the OST more..but kwang sang woo is hot..

ive watched this movie alot of times. it rocks yeh! although it is really sad at the end but it's worth of watching that movie. have you seen Autumn in my heart? well its good!
