Just saw a really sad and funny movie called Spy Girl.
Basic Synopsis.. young female ultra spy crosses into South Korea to kidnap a North Korean spy/defector who had stolen a large amount of NK spy agency funds and lost them all in a pyramid scheme. While in S Korea, she works at a Burger King resturant accross the street from a technical college. The students at the technical college run a web site of all the hot girls at the local fast food places. They put up her picture as the queen of fast food. She finds this embarrasing and dangerous, and in order to get her picture taken down, she agrees to date the hard luck case friend of the site operator.
She completes her mission and gets called back home, and he gets drafted. Before they go, he gives her a gift of a lipstick so that she can put it on and give him a kiss, but they keep messing up and never getting the kiss.
End of the show, he is up at the DMZ. His seargent finds him asleep with her picture in his hand. Confiscates the picture and marches off to report him to higher authority. Unfortunatly for the seargent, there is a Nork spy out to kidnap a south korean that night, and he gets captured by her. She returns the picture to him, as he is asleep again, and she gives him the lipstick kiss that she couldn't do before.
That's the movie. What is unusual is this is the only mention I have ever seen of NK in the SK media. considering how close the DMZ is to Seoul, it is strange that I have never seen it mentioned otherwise in the shows I have watched. Does it usually not exist at all?
