I made this thread a place where people need help on stuff like how to work things on this site, we might not no how to do it so comes to this thread for specific help lol. All computer experts out there can come and help those who need help. haha Thanks for the good deed LOL. =D. ;]
you may want to try Radlight or Bsplayer if you are looking to play subtitles with the avi files. Windows Media player should be able to play them though.
yeh i usually use windows media player/media player classic... but i noe that my cousin had the problem where she couldn't c he clip and could only hear the audio too when using windows media player... so i helped her install a codec pack and it was fine afterwards.. it was "XP Codec Pack 2.0.6"... i think that was the one... can't remember.. well this is the site for that codec pack

Hello I am trying to work with RMVB files and getting into all sorts of issues:

Will converting Rmvb files to avi maintain the quality of the video ?
How do i integrate rmvb and srt files to get subtitles together ...
I am unable to play these file in any other except real player - tried vlc, windows media player

Could you suggest a free / opensource converter that would alow me to convert if nothing else works t avi or any other format that i can use vlc to play with subtitles?
