North Korea highest court sentences two U.S journalists for 12 years in labor prison.

U.S journalist, Euna Lee and Laura Ling were found guilty of a "grave crime" and crossing over to North Korean illegally.

Ling and Lee were not able to appeal seeing they were being tried in North Korea's highest court - where decisions are final.

According to reports, they fear that the two women were used as bargaining chips with the standoff of the U.S and North Korea, where the United Nation sanctions are working to punish the nations for their latest nuclear and missiles test.

My thoughts: North Korea is one crazy country that I don't want to step my foot on to. I hope those women make it back home safely with their families and friends.
oh wow! i was hoping they'd be set free... they can't appeal? isn't that kind of unjust? what if they were wrongly accused? since N. Korea isn't a democratic country how are we suppose to know they had a fair judging? i hope someone will be able to help them.
Wow, North Korea, terrible.

I feel sorry for the two girls. Hope they get home safely.
